4 generations at our Mother’s Day celebration

The glorious warm weather that greeted me when I arrived up here is a distant memory. It’s been *cold* and rained all weekend. Yesterday morning when Maria and I walked out of our yoga class, snow flurries kissed our cheeks.

We spent Mother’s Day at my sister’s house “eating“.  We ate a late lunch, an early dinner, and tea with Maria’s delightful-to-look-at-and-delicious-to-eat little cup cakes inbetween.

Twelve of us honored my Mother at dinner: a couple of daughters, a son-in-law, a few grandchildren plus spouses, and two great-granddaughters.

(Today’s temperature will be in the low 50’s, and supposed to drop to the high 40’s for the rest of the week.)
