President Obama was in Los Angeles last night for a couple of fundraisers, which raised over $3 million for the Democratic National Committee, and California Senator Barbara Boxer’s re-election campaign.

He returned to Washington this morning, flying out of LAX (L.A. International Airport) at 8:40 am

Do you know what it means when a President’s motorcade goes through a city? ALL traffic is STOPPED, not only on the roads that the President and his “entourage” of cars drive along, but for several miles in every direction, and police on foot, on motorbikes, and in police cars line the streets to ensure his safety.
I don’t think you can imagine what happens in a city like L.A. when the streets are closed, and during the rush hour?
We were all late for work today. I sat at one traffic light for 17 minutes.
